What this site is
PickMyGenerator provides educational information about backup power and a referral service connecting Texas homeowners with independent licensed generator installers. We are not a contractor, do not perform electrical or gas work, and do not sell equipment.
Educational content, not professional advice
Sizing outputs, cost ranges, and risk indicators are educational estimates from public data and industry benchmarks. They are not engineering assessments, quotes, or predictions. Final sizing, pricing, and code compliance are determined by the licensed installer who assesses your home.
The referral service
When you submit a quote request with consent, we share your information with independent licensed installers as described in our Privacy Policy. Installers are independent businesses: we do not employ them, set their prices, or guarantee their work. Any contract for installation is strictly between you and the installer.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, PickMyGenerator is not liable for damages arising from use of the site, reliance on educational content, or the acts or omissions of independent installers.
Acceptable use
Do not submit quote requests with false information or on behalf of someone who has not authorized it, and do not scrape, disrupt, or misuse the site.
